Danish grammar

Much, many

Danish splits English "much/many" based on whether you can count the thing or not. Use meget for stuff you can't count (water, time, work), and mange for things you can count (books, people, hours). Meget also means "very" before adjectives.
Can't count it? Use meget
For quantities of uncountable things (like English "much" or "a lot of"):
Der er for meget sukker i There is too much sugar in it
Jeg har meget arbejde i dag I have a lot of work today
Hun har ikke meget tid She doesn't have much time
Vi drak meget vand We drank a lot of water
