Danish grammar

Some, any, something, anything

English uses "some" and "any" for everything. Danish splits this into three words based on what you're talking about: nogle for plural things you can count, noget for stuff you can't count (and for "something"), and nogen for people and "any" in questions.
The basic pattern
Can you count it?
Jeg købte nogle bøger I bought some books
Vi tog nogle billeder We took some photos
